Entered service 1884

Transferred 1895 to Nicholas Transit Co., Cleveland OH (home port to Fairport OH)

Struck rock June 1907 in Sandusky OH harbor.  Repaired at Lorain OH, then transferred to off-Lakes service and left the  Great Lakes towing schooner Mary B. Mitchell.  Vessels arrived Newport News VA in late Aug/early Sept 1907

Wrecked July 16, 1916 near Bonneville MA on Cape Cod Canal
