In express service between Ogdensburg NY, Toronto ON and Lewiston NY

Fleet failed 1858 and vessel sold to American Steamboat Co.

Fleet failed 1859 and vessel sold to Ontario Steamboat Co.

Remeasured 1865 under Act of May 6, 1864 (new measuring rules) to 230.2 x 32.2 x 11.5, 1044.21 tons     US 19062  

Sold 1867 to Canadian Navigation Co., Montreal QC (home port Montreal QC).  U. S. enrollment surrendered Jan 6, 1867.

Rebuilt 1868 at Rochester NY, renamed Abyssinian and left the Great Lakes.
Enrolled Canadian at 230.2 x 32.0 x 11.2, 1065 GT, 726 NT     Can 51694   

Ran Lachine Rapids, St. Lawrence River, to Montreal QC.  Largest vessel to run the rapids to that date.

Operated between Montreal QC and Quebec QC.

Cut by ice at anchor Nov 13, 1883 at Sorel QC and sank.
