Entered service Nov 3, 1977 clearing Qwen Sound ON light for Thunder Bay ON.  Down Welland Canal Nov 9, 1977 with iron ore for Hamilton ON.

Rebuilt 2001 at St. Catharines ON by Port Weller Dry Docks with new forebody built to take advantage of the new maximum dimensions allowed for transit through the St. Lawrence Seaway and renamed CSL Laurentien.
