Built at Collingwood ON by Collingwood Shipyards Ltd., Hull 192
Keel laid June 24, 1968;  launched May 29, 1969
The vessel launched herself 15 minutes before scheduled launch time.  Two workers preparing the vessel for launch were killed in the accident and 35 others injured.

730’ LOA, 718’2” LBP, 75’ beam, 42’ depth
1 deck, arch cargo hold construction, hatches @ 24’, oil-fired diesel engine, 9600 BHP

Entered service Oct 2, 1969 clearing Collingwood ON light for Fort William ON

Cargo section of hull rebuilt 2001 to new maximum permissible width to transit Seaway at St. Catharines ON by Port Weller Dry Docks and renamed CSL Tadoussac.
