Boilers converted to oil firing 1967 at Port Arthur ON by Port Arthur Shipbuilding Co.

Returned 1971 to previous owner and to Canadian enrollment and Official Number

Sold 1973 to Hindman Transportation Co., Owen Sound ON and renamed George Hindman  (4)

Sold 1978 to Quebec & Ontario Transportation Co., Thorold ON

Renamed Meldrum Bay 1979.

Sold for scrap 1985 and scrapped at Port Colborne ON

  1. Greetings , I sailed on the Coverdale in the 1960`s . Where can i find the crew list for 1968 , 69 seasons ? I would like to contact some of my old ship mates. Also if there are any pictures out there of the Coverdale ?
