Converted to tow barge because she could not be controlled as a schooner

Sold 1887 to John Corrigan, Cleveland OH (home port to Cleveland OH)

Home port to Fairport OH 1889

Foundered Nov 29, 1889 off Calumet Harbor, Lake Michigan.  Towed with schooner Geo. W. Adams by str. Aurora with cargo of iron ore.  Aurora cast off her barges during heavy storm.  No lives lost.  Enrollment surrendered June 20, 1990.
