Launched April 29, 1848

1 deck, coal-fired boilers, vertical beam engine,

Enrolled at Buffalo NY Oct 10, 1848 (#82)
298’11” x 37’ x 14’5”, 1553 70/95 tons     to:
Morris Hazard et al., Buffalo NY (home port Buffalo NY)

Lengthened 1852 at Buffalo NY
Remeasured to 314’ length and 1691 29/95 tons

Sold 1852 to Michigan Southern Rail Road Co., Monroe MI

Home port to Michigan (sic) 1855

Laid up 1857 at Detroit MI because of the Panic of 1857 and did not operate again

Towed 1858 to Buffalo NY and dismantled.  Hull converted to dry dock.
