Entered service 1959

Converted 1964 to package freighter at Lauzon QC by Davie Shipyard (cranes removed)

Sold 1980 to Groupe Desgagnes, Montreal QC and renamed Mathilda Desgagnes.

Converted back to crane equipped bulk freighter

Sold 2006 for off-Lakes service

Sale postponed when vessel was placed into temporary operation in Sept 2006 to replace in Arctic service her fleetmate Camilla Desgagnes when the latter vessel suffered engine failure.

Sold late 2006 for off-Lakes service and left the Great Lakes early 2007.

Renamed Gisela (Barbados) 2007

This vessel was built for service between St. Lawrence River ports and the Arctic and most of her service was in this trade.  She spent relatively little of her career in Great Lakes service.
