Launched May 2, 1908

1 deck, arch cargo hold construction, hatches @ 24’, coal-fired boilers, triple expansion engine, 900 IHP
Engine and boilers from str. Panama, a Davidson Steamship Co. vessel which sprang a leak in Lake Superior in Oct 1906, was beached to avoid foundering, later broke up and from which her machinery was salvaged.

Enrolled at Buffalo NY May 29, 1908 (Temp #84)
247.8 x 43.0 x 27.0, 2350 GT, 1461 NT     US 205261     to:
Davidson Steamship Co., Bay City MI (home port Duluth MN)

Entered service July 8, 1908 clearing Buffalo NY with coal for Milwaukee WI.

Permanent enrollment at Duluth MN March 12, 1909 (#22)

Chartered late 1910 for off-Lakes service and left the Great Lakes.  Later sold.

Renamed Guarany (Brazilian) 1919

Burned Oct 24, 1919 at Barbados, B.W.I. enroute with general cargo from New York NY to Buenos Aires Argentina.
