Built at Ashtabula OH by Great Lakes Engineering Works, Hull 173

Keel laid April 25, 1917; launched Sept 15, 1917
Built for French interests for off-Lakes service during World War I, cabins and machinery aft, as Perregaux but was requisitioned by the U. S. Shipping Board when the United States entered the war before she could be delivered and was renamed.  Left the Great Lakes upon completion

261’ LOA, 253’ LBP, 43’6” beam, 27’6” depth
1 deck, coal-fired boilers, triple expansion engine, 1200 IHP

Sold July 28, 1922 to James E. Davidson, Bay City MI and returned to the Great Lakes

Enrolled at Port Huron MI
253.0 x 43.5 x 27.5, 2486 GT, 1782 NT     US 215765     to:
James E. Davidson, Bay City MI (home port to Bay City MI)

Entered Great Lakes service 1922

Transferred 1923 to Davidson Steamship Co., Bay City MI, James Davidson, Mgr. (home port to Duluth MN)

Laid up 1932 at Bay City MI

Sold 1937 to Win On Co., Shanghai China for off-Lakes service and left the Great Lakes under new name with a Chinese crew

Renamed Win On (China) 1937, Hellenic City, Folozu and Bissho Maru.
