Sold 1972 to Kinsman Marine Transit Co., Cleveland OH

Renamed Alastair Guthrie 1977

Sailed as a barge 1984 season.  Laid up Sept at Buffalo NY and did not operate again.

Sold for scrap 1985 to Port Maitland Shipbreaking Ltd. and scrapped at Port Maitland ON

  1. My dad sailed on the James MacNaughton in the late 30s/early 40s. I just located his “Continuous Discharge Book” with various documents from those days.
