Sold 1899 to Lake Shore Transit Co., Cleveland OH, J. C. Gilchrist, Mgr. (home port to Vermillion OH)

Transferred 1903 to Gilchrist Transportation Co. (home port to Fairport OH)

Stranded and burned Oct 26, 1903 on Grand Island, Lake Superior.  Downbound from Duluth MN to Sandusky OH with cargo of wheat, steering gear failed and vessel driven ashore in storm.  No lives lost.  Enrollment surrendered Dec 18, 1903.
