Sold 1967 for off-Lakes service and left the Great Lakes

Renamed Montagu Bay (B.W.I.) 1967 and (Panama) 1973 and Linda 1977

Sprang leak May 16, 1977  50 miles SE of Miami FL and beached off Molasses Reef.  Returned to Miami and sank again.  Taken to deep water Dec 21, 1977 and scuttled.

Sailed on this vessel when it was MONTAGU BAY & purchased by SHALLOW DRAFT BULK CARRIERS of Nassau, Bahamas…Joined as Second Mate in 1967 & promoted to Chief Mate in 1968 … Worked on board about 2 years sailing from Canadian & US Eastern Seaboard & Gulf Coast Ports to Caribbean & South America….Also worked on sister vessel EXUMA SOUND that was originally BATE COMEAU when owned by Q & O TRANSPORTATION of Montreal.
