Lengthened 1976 at Superior WI by Fraser Shipyards
Remeasured to 751.3 length and 15179 GT, 11330 NT

Fleet made a subsidiary of United States Steel Corporation 1981, renamed USS Great Lakes Fleet Inc., Duluth MN (home port to Duluth MN)

Fleet sold 2003 to Canadian National Railway Co., Montreal QC and renamed Great Lakes Fleet.  Operated by Keystone Shipping Co., Bala-Cynwyd PA to continue to be able to trade between U.S. ports.

  1. Thinking I may have had a family member on the Munson in the 50’s or 60’s. Any way to get a list of those who have sailed?

  2. I am interested in knowing who John Munson was and a little of his family tree. I was told I am probably related to him. It would be interesting to know if that is true.
