Stranded Sept 28, 1908 off Crisp Point, just west of Whitefish Point, Lake Superior.  Downbound from Superior WI with cargo of iron ore going through heavy smoke from forest fires.  Crew saved by the crew from the Crisp Point Life Saving Station and taken to Sault Ste Marie MI by str. Thomas Maytham.  Enrollment surrendered Jan 5, 1909.
