590.5 x 62.2 x 29.3, 9957 GT, 7267 NT     Can 313931     to:
N. M. Paterson & Sons Ltd., Fort William ON (home port Fort William ON)

Entered service 1960.  First cargo into the Great Lakes, iron ore from Labrador up Welland Canal Sept 5, 1960 and arrived at Trenton MI later the same day.

Renamed Quedoc  (2) 1963

Sold for scrap 1985 to Corostel Trading Ltd.  Resold to Caribbean shipbreakers.  Cleared Quebec QC July 1, 1985 with str. Senator of Canada towed by tug Capt. Ioannis S. for Curacao.

  1. my grand parents were cooks on the quedoc .Herbert and Jill Ellis.Some time in the early 60s my grandfather disappeared off the ship in the middle of lake ont,Never to be found.After chatting with my brother he thought it was lake superior and that they might have moved to another ship.I wish i could find some information about what happened.
