Sunk Aug 14, 1896 in collision with str. William Chisholm off Windmill Point, Detroit River.  Upbound from Buffalo NY to Chicago IL with cargo of coal.  Raised by Capt. Harris W. Baker, repaired at Detroit MI by Detroit Dry Dock Co. and returned to service.
