William Beatty, Thorold ON

Transferred 1877 to North West Transportation Co., Sarnia ON

Repowered 1885 at St. Catharines ON with fore and aft compound engine

Rebuilt 1898 as bulk freighter

Stranded Aug 10, 1899 at Rossport ON, Lake Superior.  No lives lost.  Enroute to Nipigon ON with cargo of coal.
