Sunk May 9, 1917 in collision with carferry Detroit opposite foot of Fifth Street, Detroit MI, Detroit River.  Enroute from Toledo OH to Hancock MI with cargo of coal, bows crushed in accident.  Hull dynamited to remove hazard to navigation.
