Transferred 1899 to Davidson Steamship Co., Duluth MN, G. A. Tomlinson, Mgr. (home port to Duluth MN)

Wrecked July 25, 1911 on Jackfish Point, Lake Superior.  Enroute to Duluth MN with cargo of coal towing barge Montezuma, caught in storm and began to leak.  Dropped barge and beached purposely to avoid foundering.  All 18 crew saved;  vessel and cargo lost.  Fleetmate str. Sacramento dispatched from Sault Ste. Marie MI to pick up the barge.  Enrollment surrendered Aug 26, 1911.
