Entered service June 1873

Sold Oct 14, 1884 (after death of Charles Ensign) to James Ash et al, Buffalo NY

Wrecked Oct 24, 1884 on tip of Keweenaw Peninsula, Lake Superior.  No lives lost.  Upbound light for Duluth MN in storm.  Enrollment surrendered June 30, 1885.
