Renamed Hon. James L. Oberstar Feb 2007. Oberstar was a Congressman from Minnesota who was the Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. The new name had been painted on the vessel when she was quickly returned to her previous name at the request of the Congressman, who felt that having a vessel named for him would be inappropriate considering his position in the House of Representatives.
Renamed Hon. James L. Oberstar 2011. (Rep. Oberstar had not run for reelection to the House of Representatives in Nov 2010.)
In service 2011 for Interlake Steamship Co.
