Stranded Oct 13, 1909 on Grubb Reef off Point Pelee ON, Lake Erie in storm, then caught fire and burned.  Enroute from Ashabula OH to Racine WI with cargo of coal.  Five lives lost.  Enrollment surrendered Oct 20, 1909.
