Sold 1951 to Gayport Shipping Ltd., Toronto ON and returned to the Great Lakes
Repowered with 2 diesel engines, 1800 BHP
Enrollment transferred to Canada     Can 193666     (home port to Toronto ON)
Remeasured to 250.2 x 43.1 x 16.0, 1558 GT, 1409 NT

Fleet sold 1959 to Hall Corporation of Canada, Montreal QC (home port to Montreal QC) and vessel renamed Oil Transport.

Sold 1968 for off-Lakes service and left the Great Lakes

  1. Great memory of this one. First trip I took with him as a 5yo. Montreal et Quebec City and back. At that time he was the youngest Ch Engineer on the Seaway. Another trip on her as the WIT when she was in the Carribean and my Dad was shore engineer for the owners
