Sold Feb 22, 1916 to Great Lakes Transit Corporation, Buffalo NY
The railroads were required under the provisions of the Panama Canal Act of 1912 to divest themselves of competing vessels.  Great Lakes Transit Corporation was organized to own and operate these vessels.

Remeasured 1924 to 28.0 depth and 3765 GT, 3076 NT

Renamed Charles Donnelly 1926

Sold for scrap 1937 to Larson Shipwrecking Co., Chicago IL, Maxim. M. Cohen, owner

Sold 1940 to Nicholson Transit Co., Detroit MI and converted to automobile carrier

Automobile flight deck added 1946

Remeasured 1951 to 3654 GT, 3050 NT

Sold for scrap 1961 to Hyman-Michaels Co., Chicago IL.  Resold and scrapped at Ashtabula OH winter 1961-1962.
