Converted to self-unloader 1969 at Port Arthur ON by Port Arthur Shipbuilding Co.
Remeasured to 18370 GT, 12971 NT

Renamed Quetico 1969

Converted back to straight deck bulk carrier 1983 at Collingwood ON by Collingwood Shipyards Ltd.
(Not remeasured upon reconversion)

Renamed Whitefish Bay 1983

Laid up at Sorel QC at end of 1989 season and did not operate again

Sold for scrap 1992 to Chinese shipbreakers.  Cleared Sorel QC with str. Stadacona towed by Russian tug Umka.  Tow arrived Zhangjiagang China early 1993. (The tow line to both vessels had parted in a storm on the first leg of the journey but both vessels were retrieved.)
