Sunk Sept 16, 1916 by German submarine U-117 off Trevose Island, southwest England, Atlantic Ocean

    My grandparents lived in the thumb area and had a framed
    picture of Acadian in the dining room of their farmhouse.
    Grandpa told us he had sailed the Great Lakes on it.
    He was a teamster in Montana in 1906 but was called to
    work in San Francisco after the big fire. His name was
    Lewis Lefol Watson. Judging from your information his time
    on the lakes was after his lumbering days. Thanks again for
